Oriole Enterprises was started this year as a metal fabricating, in house, business that operates as part of the "Welding and Fabricating" class offering. Students in this particular class not only complete the required curriculum work but also design and fabricate many products that may get sold to teaching staff and the residents of North Fond du Lac or in some cases build equipment made to order for local manufacturers and businesses. So far this year Oriole Enterprises has constructed equipment for Mc Neilus Steel as well as Nemesis Metals and next year is looking to expand this to other local manufacturers. Students in this class next year will also have the option of a dual credit or articulation with MPTC which would give them a credit towards the welding program at MPTC upon successful completion of this course.
