I am honored to be a part of the NFDL School District and to fulfill the role of Principal at Friendship Learning Center. I became an Oriole in 2016 and have held various positions during my time in the District. I was originally hired as a fourth grade teacher and remained in that position for 2 years. In December of 2018, I became the Dean of Students at FLC and in 2019 transitioned to Assistant Principal. Prior to becoming an Oriole, I was an elementary teacher in the Fond du Lac School district for 5 years where I taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
I was born and raised in Fond du Lac, where I currently reside with my husband Bobby and our three amazing kiddos; Bennett(7), Linley(6), and Lawson(4). They keep our life full of love, laughter, and chaos! We love to spend time at our family cabin and enjoy taking road trips together.
I knew early on I wanted to be an educator and work with children. My passion for working with children then transpired into a love of serving their families and collaborating with other educators to make schools a great place. I believe schools are not only a place for children to learn academically, but to grow and develop into amazing human beings. I love working alongside the staff at Friendship Learning Center and am so proud of the dedication this team of professionals shows each and every day.

I am honored to be a part of Oriole Nation and the community of North Fond du Lac while fulfilling the role of Associate Principal at Friendship Learning Center. I became an Oriole in 2019 as a sixth grade special education teacher at Bessie Allen Middle School. In fall of 2022, I became the Associate Principal at FLC. Prior to becoming an Oriole, I was an special education elementary teacher in the Dodgeland and Fond du Lac School districts for 10 years, with one of those years as an Assistant Principal. I received my undergraduate and Masters degree from Cardinal Stritch University.
I was born and raised in Fond du Lac, where I currently reside with my wife Katie and our son Ben (16) and dog Otis. We love to spend time up north at our Cottage doing various outdoor activities.
Education came to me later on in life, for I originally went to school to be a Police Officer. As time went on, I realized my passion to teach , lead, and care for children was the direction for me. As I continue my educational journey, I’m very fortunate and grateful to work with students, families, and staff in the North Fond du Lac School district and community.
