Welcome to Oriole Nation and Horace Mann High School! We are proud to offer our staff and students a wide variety of opportunities to engage in the North Fond du Lac learning community. These offerings and supports are always generated in a student-centered approach to support ALL students. Our overarching mission is to best serve our students while supporting them academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are dedicated to offering our students a diverse learning experience to best prepare students for their post-high school years. These offerings are in large part thanks to the many great partnerships we have with our community partners.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be a member of the NFDL School District and serve as principal at Horace Mann High School. Prior to joining Oriole Nation, I was fortunate enough to serve as an elementary, middle and high school educator in the Oshkosh Area School District. In addition, I was able to support students beyond the classroom as the head wrestling and head football coach at Oshkosh West High School.

Most recently, I served as an associate principal and activities director at Appleton North High School. This experience allowed me to further develop my leadership skills and center my focus on providing students with the most meaningful experiences possible.

My wife Kara, and our two children, Otis and Ruby, are excited to immerse ourselves in the North Fond du Lac community. As a family, we enjoy traveling, time outdoors, supporting the many great sports teams in Wisconsin, and loving up our two beagles, Maynard and Gracie.

I am excited for the opportunity to best support Oriole Nation in the 24/25 school year! Let’s Fly!
